They have overcome many obstacles including but not limited to getting on network television, going back to Japan, Brazil, and other most importantly turning a profit. UFC middleweight Vitor Belfort knocked out former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold on Saturday night in the UFC on FX 8 main event. Belfort also knocked out Michael Bisping in the main event of the UFC on FX 7 card via second round KO. UFC fighter Nate Diaz suspended 90 days and fined $20,000 for gay slur

UFC lightweight Nate Diaz was already on a bit of thin ice having lost his last two fights in a row, so when he broke the UFC's Code of Conduct this past week by calling Byan Caraway a "Fag", UFC president Dana White said Diaz would either be fined, suspended or released by the promotion.
