Kimbo’s manager warns White no harm can come to the beard while on TUF 10

Don't mess with the beard.
Don't mess with the beard.

Kimbo Slice takes his beard very serious. On episode two of Inside the Ultimate Fighter, host Mike Chiappetta talks TUF 10 with UFC President Dana White. Chiappetta asks White how much money he thinks it would take for Kimbo to shave his beard. White says he does not think Kimbo would do it, then proceeds to explain why.

One of the stipulations for him to compete on The Ultimate Fighter was that no harm could come to the trademark beard. In past seasons of The Ultimate Fighter it has been very common for the house-mates to play pranks on one another. White stated that Kimbo’s management made it very clear, if anyone tried to shave his beard or do something to it while he was asleep there was going to be big problems.

Sneak peek: Kimbo Slice prepares to fight Roy Nelson on The Ultimate Fighter

Next week on The Ultimate Fighter Kimbo Slice will finally get the chance to prove himself when he fights Roy “Big Country” Nelson.

Nelson’s last fight in the cage was against Jeff Monson back in March. Nelson went the distance with Monson but lost a unanimous decision. Prior to that he was knocked out by Andrei Arlovski in October of last year. With Kimbo’s punching power, he definitely has a chance of stopping Nelson. What do you think?

Who do you think Justin's first fight will be against on the show?

Justin Wren’s TUF 10 Blog: Starting to get interesting

Here we go again, for the second time around. Life as I know it has started to get a little surreal.

It starts off with Roy and I talking in the kitchen about how we would both like to fight Kimbo. From both of our perspective’s, Roy and I are terrible match-ups for Kimbo, and either one of us fighting him means that we get millions of new viewers and tons more exposure.

The beginning of the training session shows Rampage taking time to work on Kimbo’s weak points. One thing, from the show that I think more and more people will start to realize, as the show goes on is 1) Kimbo might not be the guy he has commonly been portrayed to be, and 2) That he really does want to learn how to be a mixed martial artist.

The Ultimate Fighter 10 Spotlight: Jon Madsen – PROMMA.INFO exclusive interview

As the tenth season of the UFC’s hit reality series The Ultimate Fighter gets underway this week on Spike TV, you will see some very large men all competing for a chance to win a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

One of these large heavyweights is six-foot 240-pound Jon Madsen. He is a little different than most guys who come on the show. Madsen lives in The H.I.T. Squad fighter dorms, so transferring into a house full of fighters where he has to share the bathroom and kitchen was not a huge adjustment.

A little about me, Justin “The Viking” Wren

First I want to say thank you to PROMMA.INFO for providing me the opportunity to share some insight with you guys!

I am so lucky and fortunate to have been a part of the show! I am extremely excited for the premiere coming up in a week. I have been a fan of the UFC since I was 13-years-old and I can honestly say that this HAS to be the best season yet.

I am very lucky to have been a part of such a big show in the making, and I am looking forward to re-living six weeks of my life with fans, family and friends! This season is packed full of stiff competition; every guy on the show wanted to walk away the winner (unlike past seasons where I feel some just wanted to be on TV).
