Tito Ortiz steps down as manager of Cris Cyborg

Former UFC champion and UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz walked away from the sport a little over a year ago as a fighter, and looked to get into the managing side of things shortly thereafter by signing on to manage former women's Strikeforce champion Cris Cyborg. Marina Shafir just won her fifth MMA fight as an amateur. This past Sunday night Shafir submitted Nicole Upshaw at "University of MMA: Fight Night 5" at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Shafir is the reigning Tuff-N-Uff featherweight champion, and like her best friend Ronda Rousey before her, has been submitting all her opponents in the first round -- actually, most of them within the first minute. The event saw Poppies Martinez defeat Chris Culley via first round submission for the Tachi Featherweight Title in the main event.
