WWE…when will you learn. Elderly Vince McMahon is at it again.

Yes folks, it’s here again. Another Wrestlemania with a main event that may get booed out of the building and somewhere Vinny Mac is smiling.

Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon are butting heads on who should be in the main event spot of this year’s Wrestlemania 36. Vince wants – and brace yourself for this – Roman Reigns *gasp* once again to be in the main event spot that he stunk up at Wrestlemanias 31, 32, 33, and 34. This time it would be against, and likely at the expense of the reborn Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend.

Heyman on the other hand wants the much more sensible and progressive Brock Lesnar vs Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre. Despite his growth and resonating better with the fans the consensus is that fans aren’t ready for another failed Reigns coronation. Drew is hitting his stride and it’s probably an easier sell to end the show than “sufferin succotash” is.

We bet the stockholders and Kevin Dunn are drooling over another hand cock Superman punch. To heck with the long term consequences.

In the most shocking rumor, Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair isn’t going to be facing a main event roster superstar. Instead, she is going to take on Rhea Ripley who is the current NXT champion. Yep…you read that right. Ripley has the “it” factor for sure but pairing her with one of the top female performers at the biggest wrestling show in the world may be a dud. Rhea is coming in to her own and maybe she isn’t ready for a main roster jump.

We will update you more on Wrestlemania 36 as it draws closer and more information is available.
