In 2015 Conor McGregor iced Jose Aldo with a 13-second knockout and Jose has taunted him for a rematch ever since. Oh, and in case you missed it Conor fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently… Aldo and Rafael Dos Anjos relentlessly made fun of the Irishman on social media about his 10th round TKO loss to Floyd. However, Aldo’s coach Andre Pederneiras spoke with Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com and had some very positive things to say about Conor.

If I told you I didn’t think Conor had any chance I’d by lying. I thought he had a chance in the first two rounds if one hand landed and rocked (Floyd), but I knew that if it went past that it would be over because he doesn’t have the experience. When he got his hands up and forced McGregor to throw several punches in his guard, the fight was over. He ‘ate’ (Conor’s) cardio.

No doubt about it. Anyone who underrates Conor as a fighter is crazy. He has proven a long time ago that he’s a great fighter…If you put Mayweather to fight 12 rounds (in the UFC) against Conor, I don’t think he goes past the first. He (Conor) goes to his sport and lasts 10 rounds. I think Mayweather was the one who lost.

That is some high praise coming from Andre.
