According to OddsShark, the maker of the odds, oddsmakers, or whatever you decide you want to call them – I call them crazy – Floyd Mayweather Jr. a -400 favorite and McGregor a +300 underdog in their August 26th bout. To put that in perspective the odds started with Floyd at -2250 favorite and McGregor was a +950 big time underdog. Since the Paulie Malignaggi video surfaced, the jaw jacking filled world tour, and a ton of money was placed on McGregor the odds have morphed in a big way.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., once again, is a 49-0 boxer considered the best pound for pound fighter alive today and you would have a hard time arguing against it with the experts. McGregor is zero………and…..zero. Let me frame it once again for you how insane that is. Canelo Alvarez is 49-1-1 with his only loss coming to, you guessed it, Mayweather. If a pro boxer who has such a stellar record against elite fighters can’t get the job done how is Conor going to do it?

They say by putting the pressure on, using his reach, using his size, and coming at Mayweather from weird angles that Conor can get the job done. Those are the reasons the bets are coming in heavy on McGregor if you follow the news on the fight. If you ask us we will tell you that we want Conor to win, but it’s hard to see that happening. Technically we’re helping him right? Because he feeds off doubt?

Can he do it? Let us know what you think?
