That’s the ideal outcome for this next fight?
Knockout in the first three seconds, dude. I want to knock this guy out and I want to stay healthy and get that nice phone call from the UFC.
Any celebrations planned?
I just go home and hang out with my kids, dude. I don’t really do anything special, know what I mean? I’ll be at home watching the Mickey Mouse Club.
Where would you be without MMA?
I would probably be coaching hockey. When I was done playing hockey, I actually coached a middle school team before I started fighting and I put all of my energy towards doing that. But I would be coaching hockey at some level.
Do you have any hobbies currently?
I play video games, that’s about it outside of training and working.
What’s the last good movie you saw?
Split. That one with the guy with a bunch of different personalities. I think James McAvoy was in it. It was pretty wild. It was good.
Best post-victory meal?
Wendy’s. There’s a Wendy’s open til 4 am basically right next to my house. It doesn’t get much better than that. It’s on the ride home. I go, “the whole left side of the menu? Yeah, I’ll take that. It’s on Pat Sullivan.”
