Before David Robins returns to action at Warrior FC vs. Valor Fights on May 6 in Corbin, Ky., LIVE on FloCombat, the hot Tennessee prospect sat down with ProMMANow.

How did you find MMA to begin with?

I found MMA when I was around 15. I found some clips from Pride overseas. I thought it was so cool and I was hooked. I thought it was awesome, and I still do (laughs).

What’s your favorite walk-out song?

Shoot. I like rap, whether it’s Mobb Deep, Eminem, 2pac or Machine Gun Kelly, but I think the old-school rock, like AC-DC, is starting to get to me.

Favorite way to finish a fight?

Knockout, for sure! The last fight I won was by TKO and I was just hammer-fisting my opponent and I felt like such a barbarian. To have the referee have to physically pull me off, I felt like such an animal. I train at a great gym, so I’m used to getting those hard-fought submissions; there’s nothing like a KO or TKO.

Favorite post-fight meal?

Taco Bell (laughs). Pretty simple. Plus maybe something sweet, like some City Cafe cake. I’d have to go with Taco Bell.

Favorite TV show?

Dragon Ball Super, and I’ve been watching South Park. Something cartoonish and relaxing to take my mind off the stress of fighting.

Favorite movie?

50 Shades of Grey, if I’m with a partner (laughs). No, I like the Harry Potter series a lot, or Star Wars.

Last good book you read?

I like “Harry Potter,” definitely, but the last great book I read was “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki. That’s a really good book, man. If you finish it, it will give you a different outlook on life. Very good.
