Pro MMA Now’s Bellator 160: Henderson vs. Pitbull weigh-in report and photo gallery

The Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., was the scene for Thursday’s Bellator 160 weigh-ins and every fighter on the main card arrived on weight.

Bellator 160 will feature an epic lightweight match up between former Bellator featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and former WEC and UFC 155-pound king Benson “Smooth” Henderson in the main event. This match is essential for Benson after dropping his Bellator MMA debut back in April. It’s also an important matchup for “Pitbull” as well because anytime one can take out a former UFC champion, it’s a massive feather in the old proverbial cap.

At the scales, both competitors came in on weight with the Brazilian weighing in at (155.4) pounds, while Henderson checked in at (156) pounds.

Its payback is a bitch time as Georgi Karakhanyan (149) is set to fight Bubba Jenkins (146.8) for their scheduled rematch. A former NCAA wrestling champion, Jenkins has the chance of the lifetime to settle the score with Karakhanyan who submitted him in their previous encounter in January of last year.

Bellator 160 will be televised live on Spike starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The prelims will be streamed live on Bellator.com starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
