Josh HillBefore Canadian standout Josh “Gentleman” Hill (14-1) returns to action in a rematch with Marlon Moraes (16-4-1) for the World Series of Fighting championship July 30 in Washington, he caught up with ProMMANow.com to answer Three Burning Questions.

How badly have you wanted this rematch?

I really wanted this rematch. It’s the only loss of my career and I went five rounds with Marlon. I want redemption — and I want that title.

Were you surprised by anything in your performance in your first fight with Marlon?

No, I’m probably one of the few people who wasn’t surprised (laughs). A lot of people counted me out for that fight — they thought I’d get knocked out. I just did my thing. I did what I do every day. I hit hard and I’m really strong, fast and athletic, and I’m looking forward to showcasing all of my skills, not just a couple of them. I can hang with anyone in the world in my division.

How is this fight going to go?

It’s going to be interesting, because this is my first-ever rematch. I know he feels, I know his movement, and he knows how I feel and how I move, so it’s going to be about who makes the first mistake and who can capitalize on it. Obviously there’s got to be a winner — and I see a stoppage this time. I’m going to put that pressure on him and it’s going to break him. I’m going to look for that finish.

Hill will face Moraes in the WSOF 32 main event on July 30 from Xfinity Arena in Everett, Wash. Fans can tune-in to the event live on NBC Sports Network.
