After a long 4-and-a-half years off, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar will return to the world famous octagon on July 9th at UFC 200. However, what kind of form will he return in to?

Lesnar’s last performance was not a good note to go out on. It was against now title challenger, Alistair Overeem via TKO. That last outing always troubled Lesnar and always flirted with the idea of a potential comeback. Since retiring from his UFC Career, Brock returned back to the WWE, which I’m sure gave him some motivation to stay in shape. Even with that, Lesnar is known for his absolutely insane workouts and brute strength, so the idea of him being out of shape is not likely.

One factor that could come into play however, is father time. Lesnar is currently 38-years-old. Yet again, this may not be a factor for his return as his opponent, Mark Hunt, is currently 42 years of age. Both fighters are heavy, heavy hitters and this is sure to be a slugfest. Hunt is coming off back-to-back KO wins, which by the way, were incredibly violent.

If Lesnar however is planning on making another run for the title however, and the UFC plans to promote him and bundle him as a main attraction to the organization, this is a risky fight. Mark Hunt, despite his age, has momentum coming into this fight and can KO anyone with just one punch. Keep your eye out at UFC 200 for this barn burner!
