mcgregor-diaz

UFC light heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier respects featherweight champion Conor McGregor and believes he will be successful in whatever does…just not in his fight with Nate Diaz this Saturday at UFC 196. In various interviews DC has stated that Nate will emerge victorious, but here’s what he said to FOX Sports Live.

Conor is a different-level athlete, different-level superstar….He’s a big guy, but if you saw him and Nate standing next to each other, Nate was a lot bigger than him.

He is essentially saying that he thinks the size of Diaz will be too much for McGregor to overcome. BJ Penn was “unbeatable” at 155 pounds but was dwarfed by Georges St. Pierre and beaten handily in their rematch. Is Diaz too big for McGregor? Only Saturday will answer that.
