He made it clear that he believes he will step out of retirement and in to the Octagon on March 5 at UFC 196 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Dos Anjos vs. McGregor bout on the card will surely fill up the city of Las Vegas and put butts in the seats, but a Penn return would make it even more spectacular.
Some crazy fan theories say his words may have been cryptic code for becoming a commentator, fighting for another promotion, or even something as crazy as boxing. A safe bet would be to wait for Dana White to officially announce whatever it is Penn believes he will be doing at UFC 196.
