Twenty-seven-year-old Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza protegee Fabiano “Jacarezinho” Silva da Conceicao (26-6, 8 KO, 12 Sub) will fight Artur “Kornik” Sowiński (16-7, 6 KO, 6 Sub) for his KSW featherweight title on March 5th at KSW 34 in Warsaw, Poland. “Jacarezinho” has signed a multi-fight contract with the promotion.
KSW officials announced the bout on Tuesday. It will be one of three title fights on the KSW 34 card.
Silva da Conceicao has stopped his last three opponents, most recently knocking out Rolando Velasco (12-3-1) at Tachi Palace Fights 22 in February of last year. For Sowinski, this will be 28-year-old Pole’s first title defense since defeating Kleber Koike Erbst (18-4) via unanimous decision for the vacant belt in November.
