UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is known to have a sense of humor about things. We’ve all seen the “Werdum face” or him joking with teammates in training videos. He took to social media Tuesday to respond to Stipe Miocic statement in that he wouldn’t want to fight him(Miocic) either:
I will fight against you @stipemiocicufc anytime after my recovery. I think you are a great fire fighter.

Werdum speaks several languages fluently, so I doubt that this is an slip of the tongue on his part. Miocic does actually work as a part-time firefighter outside of competing in the octagon. So is this a subtle jab from Werdum? It’s not like he said he thinks Miocic is a great fighter. He said he thinks he is a great fire fighter!
Let the war of words begin? I have to admit, that was pretty slick from the Brazilian.
