It was announced Tuesday that number two ranked UFC middleweight Yoel Romero had been flagged by USADA for a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation during an out-of-competition test.
Riding a four-fight winning streak, former Strikeforce 185-pound contender Tim Kennedy suffered a third round TKO loss to Romero at UFC 178 back in Sept. 2014 and hasn’t fought since. Upon hearing the news of Romero popping hot, Kennedy unleashed on the Cuban Olympian on Twitter.
Romero is coming off a controversial split decision win over Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza at UFC 194 in December.
