Bethe Correia (9-1) may be getting a little too big for her britches according to Miesha Tate (17-5), who recently had to put the 32-year-old Brazilian former title contender in her place online. Correia seems to have initiated this latest spat by telling Tate, “Soon I’ll be fighting for the belt while you sit and wait. Retire!”

Tate replied, “You say you give respect to those who ‘deserve’ it, what have you done to deserve respect? You are a hypocrite at best. … I would crush you, any day anytime. I thought Ronda taught you a lesson, but clearly you need a more brutal beatdown, sign up. … Oh and don’t cry.”

Of course the “don’t cry” statement is in reference to what Ronda Rousey said to Bethe after knocking her out at UFC 190 back in August. Bethe had told Ronda “don’t cry” at the weigh-ins, but it was Ronda who had the last laugh.

Miesha is currently ranked no. 2 in the UFC’s women’s bantamweight division, while Bethe is ranked no. 8. Bethe was unbeaten at 9-0 before her fight with Rousey in August and Miesha has won her last four in a row. Nothing has been announced but if this feud gets any hotter this fight might go down outside the Octagon. Put these ladies in a cage and let them make some money already, although we would like to see Miesha fight Holly Holm for the title first.
