Fedor Emelianenko

Fedor Emelianenko is returning to MMA after a three-year absence and now we know where he will be competing. The Last Emperor will fight LIVE on Spike TV on New Year’s Eve from Tokyo, Japan against a soon to be named opponent.

Bellator is partnering with former Pride President Nobuyuki Sakakibara to put on the MMA extravaganza and the event will be broadcast in the United States to Spike’s 93 million homes.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Nobuyuki Sakakibara and our partner Bellator President Scott Coker to give MMA fans a big reason to celebrate this New Year’s Eve – Fedor fighting FREE on Spike!” said Kevin Kay, Spike President.

Fedor last fought in June 2012 when he scored a first round knockout over Pedro Rizzo. The Russian MMA legend last fought in Tokyo on New Year’s Eve in 2011 when he knocked out Japanese Olympian Satoshi Ishii in the first round.

Fedor turns 39-years-old on the 28th of this month.
