MMA is about characters, those are the guys you remember. The Sakurabas, the Shamrocks, the Don Fryes, the Tito Ortizes. And the Johnathan Iveys. If you’ve ever seen The Leglock Monster fight then you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve ever seen him walk to the cage in a Jason Voorhees Friday-the-13th-style hockey mask and carrying a machete then you know what I’m talking about. Or dropping an atomic elbow. But what he’s most known for is ripping leg and ankle joints apart like chicken wings. With over 100 professional fights, this Middle Tennessee native’s fight record reads like an MMA history who’s who list. In fact if you look over his record you’ll see he’s been taking on all-comers for around two decades now. Sometimes Curly from The Three Stooges, sometimes Rousimar Palhares, sometimes The Rock, Johnathan Ivey has been entertaining the masses since many of you were still letting momma wipe your ass. Now behold, the legendary Leglock Monster.
