The UFC 192 event just keeps getting better and better with each fight announced by UFC officials. A welterweight bout between former champion Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley has been added to the event.

Hendricks (17-3) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Matt Brown in his last outing at UFC 185. It was his first fight since losing the title to Robbie Lawler. Hendricks had defeated Lawler for the vacant UFC welterweight title at UFC 171.

Woodley (15-3) is coming off a split decision win over Kelvin Gastelum in his last outing at UFC 183. He has won back-to-back fights since losing to Rory MacDonald at UFC 174. A win over Hendricks likely puts him next in line to fight for the UFC welterweight title.

UFC 192 will be headlined by the UFC light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Alexander Gustafsson. A light heavyweight bout between former champion Rashad Evans and Ryan Bader will also take place on this card.   The event will take place October 3 in Houston, Texas, at the Toyota Center.
