UFC President Dana White announced that newly minted UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber will be the coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter which is season 22.
The 32 lightweight fighters from the United States and Europe will fight their way into the house and then join their coaches with the winner of the tournament eventually earning a shot in the UFC.
The new season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber’ will debut September 9th on FOX Sports 1.

Although Faber and McGregor got into a small altercation prior to UFC 189 on Friday, the two coaches will not fight one another once the show is over with McGregor looking to fight long time UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo in his next fight.
