WWE-Sheamus

There are some wrestlers on WWE TV with positions that defy logic. Sure, there are John Cenas, Dean Ambroses, Dolph Zigglers, Daniel Bryans, and the like…

BUT…

..there are also HHH’s buddies, Vince’s favorites, and corporate love interests. Let’s identify what most WWE fans are thinking and WWE is in denial about. Here are the three biggest failures WWE has tried to force down our throats for many years now no matter how much we show them we don’t want them in the spotlight.

3. Big Show

This guy has the personality of a turtle with down’s syndrome. He has turned bad guy and back to good guy so many times in so many unmemorable feuds that people can’t recall his last three matches. Vince loves big guys and a recent Big Show opponent Ryback is a prime example. Ryback has the same amount of charisma as Show, but doesn’t look like he ate a warehouse full of duck sauce for breakfast for 10 years, which is why Ryback is a little more forgivable.

We will always get a Big Show intervention when a wrestler gets hot just like HHH inserts himself in to the mix and buries rising talent. The idea is that the younger talent gets a “rub”. To the uninitiated that means their status is bumped up because they wrestled someone with an established name. Big Show does nothing for anyone. Show giving you a rub means the same thing as voting for Donald Trump does in the upcoming election – zero, nada, zilch. It will make no difference in the long run. We will continue to see the most boring wrestler in recent years in the spotlight until he retires.

2. Randy Orton

Bear with me here. Randy Orton is a solid performer. He has some charisma, a good in ring arsenal, and has participated in some memorable matches. Still, he has failed to draw so many times any kind of substantial PPV buy rates or viewing numbers it’s unreal. A HHH fan favorite they still try and call him the “Face of the WWE”, but no one is buying it any more than PPV’s he headlined. WWE still believes that what they spew as reality backstage is real life. It’s not jackasses. Orton is bland on the mic, has the dumbest pose in WWE history, and will never be more than a co-main event success as long as he is paired up with a solid performer. That being said, he is not even close to the #1 jabroni on this list.

1. Sheamus

Sheamus or as I call him sHHHeamus is the biggest and most obvious example of HHH’s weight lifting buddies getting thrust in to the spotlight. He has no charisma, is awful on the mic, and fans do not want him in the upper card. Guess what? They gave him the freaking Money in the Bank briefcase over guys like Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, and anyone else with talent. Let that sink in. That means Sheamus is going to to challenge for the world title AGAIN despite the fact that not one fan that isn’t Irish or Scottish would save him from drowning if they saw his pasty white arms flailing in the kiddy pool.

To cap everything off he has no respect from hardcore fans for two reasons. One, he got his ass kicked by a little Japanese guy in real life bullying him backstage. He is notorious for being nasty to others and using their things without asking. Two, it is well known that HHH continually tries to make him the breakout star no matter how much people do not care about him. He is forced down our throats and pushed over talented wrestlers no matter the long term consequences.

WWE will continue to phone their shows in because they don’t have any booking sense anymore and no competition. Until that happens we will be stuck with failures like the three I just mentioned.
