rfa vs legacyPMN is on scene at Horseshoe Tunica Resort & Casino in Robinsonville, Miss. for RFA vs. Legacy FC’s inaugural Superfight card. The event features three title bouts with RFA’s Alexandre Pantoja (15-2) taking on Legacy FC’s Damacio Page (19-9) for the first-ever AXStv Flyweight Superfight Title in the main event. In the co-headliner unbeaten RFA Bantamweight champ Luke Sanders (9-0) defends his title against Terrion Ware (13-3). And the vacant Legacy FC Lightweight Title is on the line as Dave Burrow (13-5) clashes with Mike Bronzoulis (17-8-1).

“AXS TV: RFA vs. Legacy FC Superfight” will broadcast live on AXStv tonight (Friday, May 8, 2015) starting at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT). Round-by-Round Updates:

Dave Burrow vs. Mike Bronzoulis – for vacant Legacy FC 155 lbs title

Round 1 – Burrow with a hard leg kick. Front kick and a left from Bronzoulis. Burrow shoots in, body lock from the back, looking for the trip, and gets the takedown. Inside Bronzoulis’s full guard, Burrow transitions to his back with both hooks in. Bronzoulis is able to defend the choke and Burrow slips off. Bronzoulis calls him to stand up. Burrow’s right eye bleeding, but he scores a takedown but Bronzoulis is able to get a reversal and is working from top. Burrow kicks him off – he flies through the air and lands on his feet. Leg kick Burrow. Bronzoulis with same. Burrow drags him back down but can’t keep him there. Back on the feet Bronzoulis presses forward.Burrow catches a spin kick before the bell. Fairly close round.

Round 2 – Leg kick Bronzoulis and Burrow takes a poke in the eye and time is called. He shakes it off. Leg kick Bronzoulis. They exchange punches and Burrow scores with a trip takedown. Burrow takes his back, Bronzoulis stands up and Burrow lets go of his back and they square up. Leg kick Bronzoulis. They trade leg kicks. Jab from Burrow snaps Bronzoulis’s head back. Bronzoulis grabs a Thai clinch and lands a couple knees before Burrow presses  him to the cage. Burrow backs him to the cage and Bronzoulis calls him to come on. Big leg kick from Burrow. Bronzoulis fires back with his own kicks. Another close round.

Round 3 – Burrow is getting the better of the standup as the round starts, he then scores a takedown that Bronzoulis is able to reverse and end up on top inside full guard. Bronzoulis moves to half guard and works from top for a bit before Burrow recovers full guard. Bronzoulis back to half. Bronzoulis stands over Burrow with punches but Burrow is able to get up and hop on his back… but he slides off and Bronzoulis is back inside his full guard. Burrow trips him up as Bronzoulis tries to get some space and they’re both back to the feet. Burrow gets a takedown and takes Bronzoulis’s back again but is once again swept.

Round 4 – Burrow backs him to the cage with punches. Bronzoulis calls him on. Jumping knee attempt from Burrow. Side kick Bronzoulis to the gut. Burrow gets a body lock from the back after a failed spinning backfist from Bronzoulis. Bronzoulis gets distance and lands a nice right. Burrow clinches back up and presses him to the cage. Burrow lands with a jab. Left hook from Burrow wobbles Bronzoulis. He follows up with more shots and gets a bodylock on Bronzoulis from the back. Bronzoulis is cut under his right eye. Nice left from Bronzoulis, side kick. Lots of clinch fighting before the bell. Definitive round for Burrow 10-9 as I see it.

Round 5 – Burrow lands some punches before Bronzoulis puts him on his back with a double leg. Burrow goes for a gogoplata but Bronzoulis escapes. Burrow controls the scramble and takes his back. Bronzoulis stands up and shakes him off, trying to take top control but Burrow kicks him off and tries to take his back again but it’s back to the feet. Bronzoulis with a single leg takedown but Burrow gets right up and Bronzoulis presses him to the cage. Burrow shoots in but ends up on his back. Bronzoulis with some hammerfists from the top. Bronzoulis ends up taking his back with both hooks in. Softening Burrow up with punches as the final seconds tick away. 10-9 Bronzoulis. Gonna be a close decision.

Luke Sanders (c) vs. Terrion Ware – for RFA 135 lbs title

Round 1 – Terrion Ware is a tough SOB. Sanders lit him up with some hard body kicks that looked to hurt Ware but he pulled through and landed some good shots during the round. Surreal hearing John Crouch in Luke’s corner and Luke pulling off most of what he was calling out. 10-9 Sanders.

Round 2 – Punch combo and a flying knee from Sanders. He’s already landed several body kicks this round, hard kicks. They trade leg kicks. Body kick from Sanders. Leg kick from Ware. Sanders with a punch combo and knee backs Ware to the cage. He fights back but Sanders presses him back to the cage and works from the clinch. They trade knees. Ware fights off the cage with punches. They trade leg kicks. Sanders with a big body kick. Body kick from Ware but he eats a straight left from Sanders. Left hook from Ware stops Sanders’ assault for a moment. Big straight left from Sanders. Ware eats it. Still here. Ware with fast hands but not finding their mark. 10-9 Sanders.

Round 3 – After a strong start from Sanders, Ware gaining some grounds with body kicks a couple minutes in. Sanders repeatedly putting him against the cage with punches and knees, lands a mean backward elbow. Sick. Clinch fighting, Sanders bleeding from looks to be above the left eye. Ware’s right eye is closing almost completely now. Big body kick from Sanders. 10-9 Sanders. They might stop this. It’s bad. Doctor takes a look at Ware’s eye and they let it go on.

Round 4 – Takedown from Sanders. Ware gives up his back. But is able to get to his feet. Sanders backs him to the cage with strikes. Mean body kick from Ware. Straight left and a body kick and a big combo from Sanders. He stays on him, goes for the single, now presses Ware to the cage. Back to the center and Sanders lands a big punch combo. Ware still here. Left hook and a right from Ware. 10-9 Sanders.

Round 5 – Sanders lands a solid head kick. He briefly slips but is right back up. Ware’s looking for a finish and still coming forward. Leg kick and a left hook from Ware. Left from Ware. Sanders with a punch combo then Ware ducks into a knee. Still here. Ware with another body kick, and another. Knee from Sanders, another as he puts him to the cage. Sanders works from the clinch until the ref separates them. They trade big lefts. Both guys looking for the finish and swinging heat. Ware shoots, stuffed. Sanders presses him to the cage. Ware fights his way off, wings a right hand that lands behind the head before the bell. 10-9 Sanders.

Alexandre Pantoja vs. Damacio Page – for 125 lbs superfight title

Round 1 – Takedown from Pantoja but Page is right back up. Right hand from Pantoja, Page fires back, big leg kick. Side kick from Page, but this sets up a takedown for Pantoja. Front kick from Pantoja. Pantoja ducks into an uppercut that knocks him on his back. But as Page goes to follow up Pantoja ties him up and is able to get back to his feet. Short left from Pantoja, now a right. Nice left from Page but Pantoja fires back a combo and a couple leg kicks, body jab. Page lands a left hook that knocks Pantoja across the cage. Page takes him down and works from inside guard. 10-9 Page.

Round 2 – Page looks to have more energy as the round starts. Pantoja with a head kick during an exchange. Another, and he shoots but gets stuffed and pushed over on his back. Page inside full guard. Pantoja eventually locks on a triangle and when the bell sounds Damacio Page is asleep.
