We’re hot of the heels of Extreme Rules which took place last night in Chicago. Tonight on Raw we’ll see the first round of an eight-man King of the Ring tournament with the semi-finals and finals taking place Tuesday night live on the WWE Network. After Randy Orton was defeated by Seth Rollins in their Steel Cage Heavyweight Title Match last night, how will the Apex Predator respond? And what will gatekeeper Kane have to say about getting RKO’d by Orton? What’s next for new Tag Team Champions New Day after taking the title from Tyson Kidd and Cesaro at Extreme Rules? Dolph Ziggler defeated Sheamus in their “Kiss Me Arse” match but it was the Celtic Warrior who got his derriere smooched (by force). How will Ziggler get payback against Sheamus?

* Seth Rollins opens the show with Kane and J&J Security also in the ring. Rollins says he defeated Randy Orton all by himself, but Kane reminds him he used the illegal RKO move. Orton comes out and clamors for a rematch. Roman Reigns appears in the stands and makes his way to the ring. Reigns points out that Rollins is missing his giant friend Big Show because he buried him under the announce table at Extreme Rules. Reigns says he deserves a shot at the heavyweight title. Kane says he and Rollins will take on Reigns and Orton tonight and also says he will announce by the end of the night who Rollins will defend his title against at Payback next month.
* King of the Ring tournament match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Bad News Barrett — Sheamus provides a distraction as Barrett finishes him with a Bull Hammer. Barrett moves on to the King of the Ring semi-finals.
* Big E (with New Day) vs. Tyson Kidd (with Cesaro) — Big E finishes Kidd with a clothesline. Xavier Woods held Kidd’s foot during the pin preventing him from kicking out.
* Ryback vs. Bo Dallas — Ryback with the Shellshock finish. Bray Wyatt appears in the ring behind Ryback after the match. He turns around to a Sister Abigail from Wyatt. Wyatt crabwalks then whispers something to Ryback before disappearing.
* John Cena extends his open challenge for the U.S. Title. Heath Slater tries to accept but Rusev attacks him and promises to make Cena quit at Payback in three weeks.
* Kane teases Rollins with a possible triple threat match with Orton and Reigns for his title. Rollins doesn’t like the idea one bit.
* R-Truth vs. Stardust — R-Truth finishes Stardust with a Lie Detector.
* Adam Rose vs. Fandango — Rose finishes Fandango with a Party Foul after he’s distracted by Rosa who is dressed up as a Rosebud at ringside. Rosa says she found a man who appreciates her after the match and she and Rose make out in the ring.
* Naomi vs. Brie Bella — A head kick from Naomi sets up an inside cradle for her and she rolls Brie up for the pin.
* King of the Ring tournament match: Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus — Sheamus Brogue Kicks Ambrose outside the ring. Ziggler ambushes Sheamus for some payback after what happened at Extreme Rules and Ambrose is disqualified. This moves Sheamus to the semifinals.
* Damien Sandow (as he’s now known) and Curtis Axel exchange words in the ring with Sandow mimicking him.
* King of the Ring tournament match: Neville vs. Luke Harper — Neville finishes Harper with a Red Arrow.
* Roman Reigns, Randy Orton vs. Kane, Seth Rollins — Reigns hits Rollins with a Superman Punch and knocks him right into an RKO from Orton, then the pin. As voted on by fans, it’s announced that Rollins will face Orton and Reigns in a Triple Threat Title Match at Payback. Reigns spears Rollins after the announcement.
