Ronda Rousey’s mom Dr. Ann Maria DeMars recently told Submission Radio Cris Cyborg’s entire record is under suspicion due to PED use, had an inflated record with a history of missing weight, and that her daughter, the reigning UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, would break her arm if they fought. Cyborg caught word of Dr. De Mars’ statements and responded via post on the UG:
“Honda mom look like Kim Kardashian mom. She give interview for what? She want to be TMZ superstar? I missed weight 1 time in 10 years. I don’t know where she read this but I can guarantee I make 140lbs. Cat Zingano was world Champion 125 before going up in weight to test herself, same thing Pacquiao is doing against Mayweather. Honda would rather fight girls she know she can beat in the first round because the last time she challenge herself she only take home a Bronze medal. Maybe we can ask Dana to give the loser of our fight a medal so she feel better about herself. I don’t need my mom to give interview about how I will break some movie stars nose! Honda look pussy. Something tells me if there’s one way to really get in a fight with Ronda Rousey it’s by messing with her family.

Two things. It would be a travesty if this fight never materializes. I wouldn’t even want to be a referee in the cage that night with these two pit bulls in there.
Cyborg is coming off a 46-second TKO win over Charmaine Tweet to retain her Invicta FC Featherweight Title in February, while Rousey mauled Cat Zingano in a UFC championship record 14-seconds last month. With Rousey not willing to move up in weight and Cyborg still not fighting below 145, this fight sits on the shelf.
