TMZ caught up with former UFC middleweight champ Anderson “The Spider” Silva and questioned him regarding his recent failed drug tests for performance enhancing drugs. Silva denied knowingly taking steroids but at one point said he needed to check all the supplements he used because he’d never failed a drug test before. One would think if a person is truly innocent, checking the supplements they were taking would be first on the agenda.

Silva seems to acknowledge he’ll likely be taking a hiatus due to an expected suspension by the athletic commission, but says he’d love a rematch with Nick Diaz when he is able to fight again. And when he hears how much money 50 Cent is planning to bet on Floyd Mayweather ($1.6 million) in his upcoming fight with Manny Pacquiao, “The Spider” sends Fiddy a message saying he needs to put that money on him in his next fight.

Anderson is currently under temporary suspension by the NSAC pending a formal hearing before the commission.

  1. Is anderson suggesting that 50 cent bet on him beating a semi-retired swollen up 170 that he already “beat”.

Thats almost as brave and bold as the 6 years he spent loitering in a cleared out division.
