wwe raw logoWWE Fastlane is in the books and Roman Reigns is now in line for a shot at Brock Lesnar’s heavyweight title next month at WrestleMania 31. Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman are confirmed to appear on Raw tonight from Nashville to address the situation. Randy Orton made his return at Fastlane and almost got some real payback on Seth Rollins; expect some fireworks from these two tonight. After John Cena got put to sleep with an Accolade by Rusev at Fastlane, how will the former champ rebound as WrestleMania draws near? And what will HHH have to say about his encounter with Sting at Fastlane — HHH was on the wrong end of a Scorpion Death Drop — and their upcoming match at WrestleMania 31? All this and more tonight on Raw.

PMN will provide live results, updates and video highlights of tonight’s action kicking off with the live broadcast on USA Network at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

NOTES:

  • Randy Orton opens the show and says he’s been out of action the past four months because of Seth Rollins. Orton says Rollins got away from him last night at Fastlane and calls him out. This brings out HHH, Steph, Kane and Big Show. Steph wants Orton to be the face of the organization and to make up with Rollins. She offers her hand to join forces. Orton wants no part of it and says he’d rather kick some ass than kiss some ass. Big Show then tries to convince Orton to join The Authority. Steph lays it on thick for Orton and says they’d like to have a business meeting with him. After some hesitation, Orton agrees to meet with The Authority backstage.
  • The Authority holds their meeting with Orton. Rollins is also there and opposes Orton coming back to The Authority, as does Kane. Steph is the one pushing it, if Orton can forgive Rollins. Orton shakes hands with Rollins and Steph makes a tag match with Orton and Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns tonight.
  • Roman Reigns comes out talking about his win over Daniel Bryan at Fastlane. This brings Bryan out to put him over and he admits Reigns beat him and asks him to do a favor and go beat Brock Lesnar. This in turn brings out Paul Heyman who congratulates Reigns on his win last night. Heyman says his money would always be on Reigns, except NOT against Lesnar.
  • We see a video segment where Bray Wyatt says he’s coming for The Undertaker’s soul.
  • Rusev (with Lana) and John Cena come out and Lana tells Cena what a loser he is. She pays respect to Putin and Rusev takes the mic. Rusev wants Cena to admit that Russia is better than America, but Cena gets the crowd riled up by saying something like, “Nobody runs down America!” He then makes a Grand Ole Opry reference and tries to sell some more American pride. This all-American boy scout gimmick is gross. Rusev tells Cena he doesn’t deserve a rematch and says he won’t fight him.
  • Video segment with Rollins and Orton shaking hands and making plans to defeat Bryan and Reigns.
  • We get a Sting history lesson in another video segment, as well as highlights from his encounter with HHH at Fastlane and a promo for their upcoming match at WrestleMania.
  • The tag team The Bushwhackers announced for WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015.

MATCH RESULTS:

  • Bad News Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler — Barrett retained his title against Dean Ambrose last night at Fastlane but Ambrose stole the belt. Ziggler finishes Barrett with a Zig Zag, and the pin. Ambrose then comes out with the title to confront Barrett who is laid out in the corner of the ring. He and Ziggler exchange a few words, but nothing else comes of it.
  • The Ascension vs. Prime Time Players (Darren Young, Titus O’Neil) — Young rolls one up for the pin, but then gets beaten down afterward, including being on the wrong end of a Fall of Man. Still, the PTP just handed Ascension their first loss in WWE.
  • The Usos (with Naomi) vs. Tyson Kidd (with Nattie), Cesaro — Kidd and Cesaro won the Tag Team Title last night and it’s on the line here. As Jimmy Uso gets on the top rope, Nattie pulls out his leg from behind. This causes Kidd and Cesaro to get disqualified. Naomi comes from behind Nattie and pulls her off the apron. Kidd and Cesaro retain their title.
  • Jack Swagger vs. Stardust — Swagger taps him out with a Patriot Lock. Goldust makes his way ringside to witness the defeat of his estranged brother.
  • Emma, Paige vs. Bella Twins (c) — They beat down Emma fast as Brie slams her face first, then pins her. Paige gives her a heel kick to the face then Nikki attacks her from behind. Nikki and Brie exit with Paige and Emaa still on the canvas.
  • Curtis Axel vs. Ryback — A delusional Axel does a Hulkamania ripoff promo and mummers something about fighting in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and being the last man standing. Ryback says he’ll be the last man standing, shellshocks Axel and pins him. Easy work.
  • Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton, Seth Rollins — Rollins avoids a curb stomp from Rollins and floors him with a Superman Punch. Bryan tags in and finishes him off. The crowd loves it. A pissed of Orton comes at Rollins, J&J’s Noble tries to stop him and gets RKO’d. Orton comes over to Rollins, helps him up and shoves him in the corner then walks off as Rollins is left looking stunned at the whole scene, his hair a hot mess.
