UFC officials announced several fights for the upcoming UFC 187 event that’s set for May 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is stacked, for now, at least until the injury bug strikes or another fighter gets busted for PED use. Check out the lineup below:
- Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson (UFC light heavyweight title fight)
- Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort (UFC middleweight title fight)
- Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Donald Cerrone
- Travis Browne vs. Andrei Arlovski
- Joseph Benavidez vs. John Moraga
- Islam Makhachev vs. Leo Kuntz
The top three fights are enough to carry the card, but the flyweight scrap between two former title challengers should be a barn burner as well. Then add in the fact that the Browne/Arlovski fight could end with someone going to sleep, and we have a great card on paper.
