demetrious johnsonIt looks as though Demetrious Johnson is not going to get his 2 million dollar fight against TJ Dillashaw, but instead will defend his UFC flyweight title in the co-main event of UFC 186 against Kyoji Horiguchi. The UFC 186 PPV event is set to take place at the Bell Centre on Saturday, April 25th, in Montreal. The event will be headlined by the UFC bantamweight title fight rematch between TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao.

Johnson (21-2-1) is coming off his fifth consecutive title defense at UFC 178, submitting Chris Cariaso in the second round via kimura. It was Johnson’s fourth consecutive win via stoppage and he’ll look to continue to prove that he’s pound for pound one of the best in the world against Horiguchi.

Horiguchi (15-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Louis Gaudinot at UFC 182. He has won four consecutive fights in the UFC with two of those wins coming via stoppage. He hasn’t lost since losing a majority decision against Masakatsu Ueda in 2012.

Tickets for UFC 186 will go on sale February 28th.
