In order for the super fight to happen between UFC 125 pound champ Demetrious Johnson and UFC 135 pound champ TJ Dillashaw it’s going to take a lot of dollar signs.

Reportedly DJ wants two million buckaroos to fight TJ and I just don’t see that happening do you. If this was GSP vs. Anderson Silva maybe, but two little guys no matter how exciting they are just won’t be that big of a draw unless it isn’t marketed.

Here’s what DJ had to say about the cheddar he wants for the bout.

I was like, ‘Hey, I told everybody that I’ll fight you.’ He was like, ‘You did?’ I said, ‘Yes and I told everybody we gotta get paid. I said $2 million.’ He goes, ‘Eff, yeah. I’m down with that.’

He wasn’t kidding in the slightest. DJ believes he is worth two million and who am I to say he isn’t. Dana might not give him the two million guaranteed but his PPV points might make it there if this is marketed right. Anderson Silva has six million dollars being held by the UFC now after testing positive for PED’s before the Nick Diaz fight. That’s a lot of money and if you look at how much Silva made it is a realistic scenario that the two champions facing each other could pull enough  for that to happen.

DJ also believes the scenario where he gets the cash may not play out he would accept a compromise.

I guess not. Maybe one million if Dana wants to come out with that.
