By now every MMA fan knows former UFC heavyweight fighter Dave Herman was arrested on a variety of charges. When the cops got him it was look the hell out – here come tasers. Herman’s wife caught it all on video.

MMA Junkie provided the following after it happened.

David exited his vehicle and approached Officers in an aggressive manner. David was given multiple warnings to get on the ground and failed to comply. David had to be tased in order to be taken into custody. An infant and adult female were also present in the vehicle.

Dave Herman, a former UFC and Bellator MMA fighter who most recently competed for Titan FC, was arrested early Monday morning in Indiana after leading police on a chase.

Herman faces a few charges that include resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, battery against law enforcement and neglect of a dependant (what the hell Dave?), all of them felonies, and even a resisting law enforcement misdemeanor, according to the police report.

Herman won his UFC debut in 2011 before losing four straight fights and getting promptly released. He fought in May with the Titan Fighting Championship, where he picked up a decent unanimous decision victory over Kalib Starnes.Herman holds a 22-6 career MMA record

Dave Herman is a very likable guy and these actions seem oddly out of character for him. We will continue to update this page as more information becomes available.

  1. Fuckin Pee Wee.
What a waste of natural talent.

But I guess at the same time thats what I always liked about him,
he’s just so laid back and lackadaisical.

But that doesn’t necessarily lend itself to success against top level competition.

  2. “… neglect of a dependant (what the hell Dave?)”

    That could mean anything.
The law phrases things to make you look guilty.

Maybe figure out what it is before you start what the hell’ing.

It only costs like 30 bucks a month to get access to the details of peoples records and charges.

Thats all brent brookhouses alleged investigative journalism consists of.
