They hype is here. Boston will play host to the Conor McGregor Show tonight on FOX Sports 1. All eyes will be on the featherweight phenom. McGregor will have a shot at the 145 pound title if he can get past the hard hitting Dennis Siver. It seems that many people are overlooking Siver so he could really play spoiler tonight.

The co-main event features two familiar foes. Benson Henderson has beat Donald Cerrone twice in his career and will try to make it a third. Cerrone is only 14 days removed from his last fist fight and is looking to extend his streak.

We’ve put together some picks for the event. We even added a bonus pick because at the time we but our heads together, Uriah Hall had yet to be matched up.

Norman Parke vs. Gleison Tibau – Lightweight

Dr Rhadi Ferguson (@JudoDoc) – If his (Tibau) weight cut goes well, he’s unstoppable. Pick – Gleison Tibau

Jack Bratcher (@ProMMA) – Tibau has long been a gatekeeper to the upper echelons of the UFC’s lightweight division and Norman Parke is not going to get through that gate on Sunday. Tibau by sub or decision. Pick – Gleison Tibau

Gary Thomas (@GaryThomasMMA) – I think the strong takedowns and just overwhelming amount of experience will put Tibau in a good position for the win. Parke is tough but I don’t think he’s gonna have much to take home a “W”. Pick – Gleison Tibau.

Donald Cerrone vs. Benson Henderson – Lightweight

Dr. Rhadi Ferguson – Once again, Cerrone is not the better athlete here but I’m going with Cerrone’s corner. I think that they can put together a good gameplan in order to beat Henderson. Henderson does just enough to win and I think that a small miscalculation on how much is just enough is good enough for Cerrone to squeak by in a split decision. Pick – Donald Cerrone

Jack Bratcher – Cerrone has tremendous momentum right now but Bendo has already bested him twice, albeit it was several years ago. Also, Bendo is coming off the first KO loss of his career. I’m going with Cerrone via TKO or submission. Pick – Donald Cerrone

Gary Thomas – I think Dr. Ferguson and Jack Bratch make a solid case for Cerrone but I feel that 14 days after a three round fight may be too much to overcome. Training camps get you to peak at the right time and I don’t think Cowboy can stay peaking for an additional 15 days. I think it will be close but I see the former champ pulling off a decision. Pick – Benson Henderson

Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver – Featherweight

Dr. Rhadi Ferguson – This is a “heart” and not a “head” pick. I think McGregor is the better athlete, the more well-rounded fighter and on fire right now. I would just like to see the cagey and gamey veteran Dennis Siver pick up the big win here. Not sure if he can do it but he’s my pick! Pick – Dennis Siver

Jack Bratcher – McGregor will smash Siver. Siver’s too slow for the Irishman and Conor’s confidence is at an all time high. I’ll go with McGregor’s own prediction… He’ll finish Siver in round 2. Pick – Conor McGregor

Gary Thomas –  I am with Dr. Ferguson here in that my heart wants Siver to pull of the upset. I love underdogs. Although I think an Aldo/McGregor fight would give the sport a little shot in the arm, I don’t know if McGregor is gonna like how that would end. McGregor needs to be tested by a wrestler. Siver may catch him but I doubt it. Pick-  Conor McGregor.
