UFC officials have announced that Matt Brown and former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks have agreed to fight at the UFC 185 event that’s set for March 14 in Dallas, Texas.
The event will be headlined by the UFC lightweight title fight between Anthony Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos and will take place at the American Airlines Arena.
Brown (19-12) had his seven fight win streak snapped in his last outing and now Robbie Lawler in July 2014. The fight was competitive and Lawler went on to defeat Johny Hendricks in their rematch to become the current UFC welterweight champion.
Hendricks (16-3) is coming off the split decision loss to Robbie Lawler at UFC 181. The two were supposed to fight for a third time, but the UFC scrapped those plans and decided to go with Matt Brown.
