Roland Delorme

Canadian bantamweight fighter “Stunning” Roland Delorme (9-4, 1 NC MMA) has received a pink slip from the UFC.

The TUF 14 competitor went an even 3-3 with 1 no-contest during his tenure with the promotion. He scored victories over Josh “Taz” Ferguson, Nick Denis and Edwin Figueroa while a part of the stacked UFC’s bantamweight division.

Delorme fought on August’s UFC Fight Night event in Macau, China. He was on the receiving end of a submission loss to Japanese mixed martial artists Yuta Sasaki.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada native went to his Facebook page to announce the news:

“Well I got cut from the UFC but I ain’t worried bout nothing not like I didn’t expect it but I thought if they were gonna do it they would have by now. I wanna thank everyone who supported me And the UFC but that doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop fighting, I’ll be back in a couple wins.”
