UFC middleweight Luke Rockhold broke the news today that he’ll be fighting former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in the main event of UFC on FOX 15 on April 18th.

The event will place at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Rockhold (13-2) has won three consecutive fights(all in 2014) since getting knocked out by Vitor Belfort in his only fight in 2013. Machida (22-5) is coming off a first round TKO win over CB Dollaway in December. Machida found for the middleweight title against Chris Weidman in July 2014, but lost a unanimous decision to the champion.
It should be a good fight with the winner very close to a title shot, in particular, Rockhold since the last fighter to defeat him is fighting for the title in a few weeks. Stay tuned to ProMMAnow.com for more UFC on FOX 15 fight announcements.
