The biggest mystery going in to season 5 is what happened to Beth? She was kidnapped and thrust in to a car that sped off. Many theories have circulated, all ominous and not boding well for Beth. The term Slabtown in the title of the episode most probably refers to a hospital morgue, and in this video it confirms that she is indeed in a hospital so it makes sense. There are a couple scenarios that could play out and here are a few.
1) A far out twist could be that she was an unwitting organ donor. Maybe some sick doctors decided to trade organs for supplies for ailing survivors. Highly unlikely, but not a big surprise if that was the case.
2) The military is using kidnapped victims to test a vaccine or cure. This seems more plausible than the first given the nature of the video.
3) She is simply in some sort of situation like the movie Hostel. She could be the plaything of a sadistic captor.
4) The hospital scenes could be a flashback and she may be the one who was with Daryl, and not Carol.
The only way to find out is to watch next week, but I think we agree with most – her situation and outlook are not good.
