Young Tom Schaar was just 12 when he nailed the most elusive trick in skateboarding, a one thousand and eighty degree spin. Many had attempted it including Shaun White at the X-games in 2006. He tried to recapture the magic Tony Hawk conjured when he basically willed himself in to landing it after numerous attempts.

Here is the first 1080 landed, well at least recorded on video. Granted it was in ideal conditions and on a larger ramp, but it’s still amazing.
