CM Punk doesn’t want you tweeting his wedding pics, he won’t show up to work and now he wants some compensation for his likeness in a video game. Can you blame him for any of that?

The inactive professional wrestler hasn’t returned to work since this year’s Royal Rumble. He’s been silent about that but any hopes of a return are pretty much gone. He was recently moved to the WWE “alumni” category. He seemed content about the situation, until now.

Punk’s attorney has sent a 22 page letter to the WWE according to Inquisitir.com. The letter is about Punk not receiving any royalties for the use of his name or likeness. It should be noted that his WWE contract expired this summer.

Specifically mentioned was the  WWE 2K15 game that is set to be released later this year. It seems as if CM Punk hasn’t been paid at all recently as word on the street is WWE officials believe he is in breach of contract for this extended absence.  It’s kind of weird though considering he was getting regular paychecks despite not showing up for work. I’d take that.

We’ll see how this plays out. No CM Punk merch has been sold since his contract expired.  Not sure how much money we are talking in royalties but judging by you the reader, people still love them some CM Punk.

Should the WWE have to pay him?
