What happens when you take one of Jiu Jitsu’s best ever and match him against one of the most dominant wrestlers in UFC history… well, you get the Metamoris 4 main event of course… between Andre Galvao and Chael Sonnen.
Sonnen may be banned from MMA, but there are no restrictions on TRT or any other type of performance enhancing drug in BJJ competition. But will any of that help Sonnen when he faces off with the multi-time Abu Dhabi and BJJ world champion?
Sonnen is quite a bit heavier than Galvao, who has a 5-2 MMA record at welterweight (170 lbs.). It’s very doubtful Sonnen will be able to submit Galvao, but can he at least use his wrestling to keep from getting tapped out? If he is just able to go the distance for a draw with Galvao without getting submitted, it would be quite a feat.
