Saul “Canelo” Alvarez won a controversial split decision in the main event of the Showtime “Honor & Glory” PPV event. Lara landed the cleaner punches all night, going almost exclusively to the head while Alvarez went to the body trying to slow down the movement of Lara. The judges scorecards were (115-113 Lara, 115-113 Alvarez, 117-111 Alvarez). It was a really close fight, but that third judge was too wide in the decision. That was terrible.
