Scott CokerListen in on Wednesday’s Bellator MMA conference call with new President, Scott Coker. The former Strikeforce CEO and Founder took questions from the media for nearly half an hour on why this was the right move for him, how long he’d been in talks with Bellator and his vision for the future of the organization. There’s quite a bit to digest here, including Bellator eventually moving away from the tournament and season format. Also, Coker reveals he is open to making fights against other organizations’ fighters if it makes sense — the same he did with guys like M1’s Fedor Emelianenko in Strikeforce. It’s Bellator 2.0, now listen to the new President, Scott Coker, as he shares his perspective from his first day on the job. Spike TV President Kevin Kay also participated in the call.

It was announced Wednesday that Scott Coker had replaced Bjorn Rebney as the new Bellator MMA President. You can read Rebney’s reaction to being ousted from the company here.
