If you are an MMA fan and enjoy shows like “Bar Rescue”, then get ready for the Mixed Martial Arts version. The new series “Gym Rescue”, hosted by MMA legends Randy Couture and Frank Shamrock, will premiere on Spike TV on Sunday, Aug. 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Couture and Shamrock will use their years of experience in the MMA business to help turn struggling gyms into thriving enterprises. The duo will confront and try and help gym owners change their business tactics, whether it be through re-defining the gym’s identity, renovating outdated workout equipment or developing new marketing strategies.
The three-episode series was shot on location in Colorado and Florida.
What do you think, is this something you would be into checking out? Interesting that it’s only three episodes — maybe it’s a trial run to see how it does. Some of these types of shows are entertaining to me. I personally enjoy Hotel Impossible and Restaurant Impossible on the Travel Channel, and Bar Rescue on Spike TV on occasion.
