UFC officials have announced that the promotion will return to Connecticut on September 5 for the first time since 2005. The event will take place at the Foxwoods Resort Casino, and tickets will go on sale July 11.
The event will air on FOX Sports 1.
The most interesting thing about this announcement is that this event will go head-to-head with rival promotion Bellator’s Season 11 opener. The Bellator event will take place about 10 miles from the UFC event.
No fights have been announced, but the fight card should begin to be released soon.
