UFC officials have confirmed a lightweight matchup for the upcoming UFC Fight Night event that’s slated to take place at the in Atlantic City on July 16. Gleison Tibau has agreed to face Pat Healy in a match where both fighters are in need of wins desperately.
The event will be headlined by the lightweight matchup between Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller and will take place at the Revel Casino Hotel.
Tibau (28-10) is coming off a KO loss to Michael Johnson in his last outing at UFC 168 in December. Tibau had won back-to-back fights prior to the loss, and three of his last four. He is (3-3) in his last six UFC bouts.
Healy (29-19) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Jorge Masvidal at the UFC on FOX 11 event in April. Healy has lost three consecutive bouts after an impressive win over Jim Miller(the win was overturned to a no-contest after Healy tested positive for marijuana use).
