UFC officials have announced a bout for the upcoming UFC Fight Night event that’s set for June 28 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Rani Yahya and Johnny Bedford will meet in a rematch of their bout from UFC Fight Night 39 that took place on April 11 in Abu Dhabi.

The original bout ended in a no contest after the referee called a stop to the bout just 39 seconds into the fight after an accidental clash of heads.

The UFC Fight Night event will be headlined by the featherweight scrap between Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens.

Yahya (19-8, 1NC) was coming off a split decision loss heading into the first bout with Bedford, but had won three consecutive fights prior to that bout. The submission specialist is (4-2, 1NC) since transitioning to the UFC after the WEC/UFC merger in 2011.

Bedford (19-10-1, 1NC) was coming off a submission loss to Bryan Caraway heading into the first bout with Yahya. He had also won three consecutive bouts prior to that loss, and has a UFC record of (2-1, 1NC) after competing on season 14 of “The Ultimate Fighter”.
