UFC officials have announced that TUF 17 finalist Uriah Hall will return to action to take on Thiago Santos at the UFC 175 event that’s set for July 5 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The UFC 175 event will be headlined by the UFC middleweight title fight between champion Chris Weidman and challenger Lyoto Machida.
Hall (8-4) is coming off the biggest win of his career, a TKO(retirement after 1st round ended) win over TUF 1 alum Chris Weidman. Hall had lost back-to-back fights via split decision and likely would have been cut from the promotion with a loss to Leben.
Santos (9-2) is coming off the biggest win of his career as well, a first round TKO win over heavy betting favorite Ronny Markes at UFC Fight Night 39. Santos lost his UFC debut at UFC 163, but made his presence felt with the huge win over Markes.
