Bobby Green does work from top position

UFC officials have announced an exciting lightweight matchup that will open up the UFC 172 PPV card set for the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Jim Miller and the quickly rising Bobby Green have verbally agreed to get it on.

Miller (23-4, 1NC) is coming off a submission win over Fabricio Cameos in his last bout at UFC 168. Miller is (2-0, 1NC) in his last three bouts and looks to keep his momentum going against a very tough fight in Bobby Green.

Green (22-5) is coming off a gritty win over the always tough Pat Healy in his last matchup at the UFC on FOX 9 event. Green is (3-0) in the UFC since coming over from Strikeforce after they closed their doors. I think it’s worth mentioning that the no contest Miller has on his record was originally a submission loss against Healy. However, Healy tested positive for marijuana and the bout was over turned to the no contest.

The UFC 172 event will be headlined by the UFC light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and challenger Glover Teixeira.
