Dale Miller was an MMA fighter before the UFC’s rise to prominence that subsequently sparked state regulations to be created, and records to be kept. Dale was a World Champion in traditional martial arts in a time when the final bout was often an MMA fight in a cage. Shortly after conquering traditional martial arts Dale shifted his focus to MMA.

With a record close to 18-2, Miller competed in his first MMA fight where records were being publicly kept, and in a sick joke by fate, lost. Dale disclosed before the fight he had an injury to his shoulder, and after landing on it during the bout he was unable to use it, and defend himself. Miller jokes about the 0-1 record frequently, but has moved on from MMA and become an actor. Miller opens up about coping with the death of his mentor John Mason, his time in MMA, and his success as a film  & television actor. Dale is also a member of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
