John Howard vs. Siya Bahadurzada
John Howard vs. Siya Bahadurzada

John “Doomsday” Howard has made the most of his UFC return. After taking a short notice fight earlier in the year, Howard got the nod in a split decision over Uriah Hall. He made it two in a row tonight at UFC 168 when his arm was raised in a unanimous decision victory.

It was the cardio of Howard that carried him to victory. Bahadurzada started losing steam in the second round and that is when Howard began to shine. As the momentum was swinging back in forth, Howard got Bahadurzada up and dropped him with a huge slam with less than a minute to go.

The third round saw Howard kick things off with a take down attempt. He landed one just a few minutes later and dropped bombs. He closed things out with a submission attempt but couldn’t sink it in.

All three judges saw it 30-27 for Howard as he makes it four straight wins.
