The current UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman was given little chance of knocking out Anderson Silva in their initial matchup at UFC 162 this past July. However, that’s exactly what happened as Silva toyed and taunted Weidman with gestures while the two exchanged strikes. It’s a common trait of Silva and one that he had perfected to lull opponents to sleep before actually putting them to sleep with strikes of his own.
